Product: AnyCheck Implant Stability Meter

AnyCheck is an implant stability meter from Korean dental solutions provider Neo Biotech that determines implant stability and measures the degree of osseointegration strength through direct contact with the healing abutment.

As such, the healing abutment does not need to be removed during the measurement. AnyCheck allows dentists to measure implant stability even right after implant placement, says Neo Biotech. By indicating the most appropriate time for connecting prosthetics, the device also helps to reduce implant failure risks.

The device utilises a unique light tapping motion (Periotester), in combination with the RFA method (Osstell) to measure the stability of all implants including All-4-One. Test results are displayed on the LCD screen in the range of 30-90, in which the numbers closely relate to the standardized ISQ values.

Useful for early diagnosis of peri-implantitis, AnyCheck operates without the risk of inconvenient unscrewing of the healing abutment during the critical healing process period.

Quicker and less tapping force required

According to Neo Biotech, it takes only about 1.5 seconds to get a reading. The implant stability meter greatly improves the shortcomings of existing magnetic frequency resonance and percussion-type fluctuation measuring instruments.

In addition, it is possible to measure all implants, including single implants. IST scale is measured through only 6 times of light tapping – said to be 30% of the tapping force compared with a similar product.

If it is determined that the force is weak during the measurement process, it automatically stops the percussion after two taps, and it does not measure what is outside the allowable measurement angle.

Check immediately after implant placement

One of its strengths is that it can measure implant stability at any time after implant placement and even after the final prosthesis is fastened. In addition, it provides stable guidelines for implant maintenance, measures natural tooth stability, and checks whether or not tooth extraction has occurred.

According to the company, existing magnetic frequency resonance stability measuring devices have high hitting strength and 16 times, so disadvantages have been pointed out that it is not good for osseointegration of implants and alveolar bone. AnyCheck is evaluated to have complemented all the shortcomings of these existing products.

Simply point the percussion rod of the AnyCheck device perpendicular to the implant at the top of the healing abutment and press the button to start percussion after 0.5 seconds, then check the value displayed on the LCD window.

It is possible to measure even natural teeth or implant prosthetics by directly tapping on the object. AnyCheck allows rapid tests to be carried out as measuring time is approximately only 3 seconds per implant.
