Chamlion and GPAINNOVA Forge Dental Partnership in China

CHINA: A strategic cooperation agreement was signed on October 15th between Chamlion and global surface metal finishing expert GPAINNOVA. The partnership establishes Chamlion as the exclusive dental strategic partner for GPAINNOVA in China, marking a significant advancement in the digital transformation of the dental industry.

Revolutionising Dental Prosthesis Manufacturing

In the production of dental prostheses, the critical step of polishing, which directly impacts user comfort, has traditionally relied on manual techniques. This approach is both inefficient and poses challenges such as incomplete polishing and health risks associated with generated dust. Furthermore, training skilled manual technicians takes years, incurring high time and labor costs.

GPAINNOVA has pioneered dry electropolishing technology, known as DryLyte Technology, which holds a worldwide patent. This innovative technology reaches areas inaccessible to mechanical or manual methods, representing a revolutionary solution for surface finishing in the dental industry. DryLyte Technology enables full automation and simplifies the multi-step traditional process, replacing labor-intensive polishing and grinding stages with a one-step polishing solution.

Importantly, this technology stands apart from traditional plasma polishing machines as it doesn’t require a closed-loop water circulation system or sludge waste disposal machinery, resulting in space and labor cost savings and enhanced environmental friendliness.

Chamlion’s Dental Expertise

Chamlion, a major player in the dental sector, offers in-house research and development of specialised dental 3D printers, AI intelligent design software, and comprehensive post-processing equipment. This suite of offerings enables an end-to-end digitalisation of dental processes. The collaboration between Chamlion and GPAINNOVA seeks to standardise and enhance the quality of metal denture polishing. In 2023, as GPAINNOVA celebrates its tenth anniversary, this partnership is expected to drive waves of innovation in digital dentistry, ushering in revolutionary technological advancements for the dental industry.
