Product: CyberMed Core1 implant system

CyberMed has released its Core1 implant system, which the company claims is built for digital implant solutions.

To promote smooth implant placement and high primary stability, the implant system features a self-threading mechanism and a sharp thread that maximizes preservation of the existing bone and secures anchorage. Its double thread design also helps to minimize implant placement time

With an internal type structure – the hex is located inside the implant body – it has the effect of dispersing cervical coagulation due to Platform Switching and a stable Taper Joint Connection is stable, which is also effective in blocking microorganisms.

In particular, the 11° Morse Taper structure can distribute the stress concentrated on the screw to the wide contact surface of the connection.

The Core One implant can maximize the Platform Switching effect, distributing the load concentrated on the abutment connection, and remarkably reducing the absorption of alveolar bone to maintain a certain bone level. Platform Switching increases soft tissue volume around connection and promises superior aesthetics.

In addition, stable gingival formation can be expected by connecting an abutment with a diameter smaller than the diameter of the implant platform.

CyberMed’s ‘Core Plasma Activator’, which was released in May, is also attracting attention. It irradiates plasma onto the fixture to create an environment that attracts not only proteins but also multiple cells during implant treatment. Plasma can treat even the inner surface of the thread, the company says, which is much more effective than other carbonization film removal methods.

“I did not buy the existing product because I was concerned about ozone emission, but was convinced after learning about the principle behind the Core Plasma Activator,” said an early user of the system.

“Now my patient waiting times have been shortened while patient satisfaction has increased.”

According to CyberMed, Core1 Implant is a product optimized for digital dentistry that can enable treatments to be completed in 90 minutes from extraction to immediate implantation and temporary prosthesis.

CyberMed provides a complete digital implant solution by combining 3D 4K printer 4K with Core1 implant, and a GBR lineup following its medical imaging software model.
