DMG Set to Introduce Innovative Ecosite Elements Universal Composite Shade System

DMG is gearing up to unveil its Ecosite Elements nanohybrid universal composite shade system at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, set to take place from November 26 to 29, 2023.

Ecosite Elements represents the culmination of extensive collaboration with leading clinicians and in-depth research conducted by DMG scientists, offering dental professionals the capability to efficiently and swiftly create aesthetically impressive restorations.

Versatile and Simplified Approach

One of the original evaluators of the Ecosite Elements system, Scott Chanin, DMD, FAGD, FASDA, shared his insights by stating, “There’s a wide range of flexibility with this Ecosite Elements that allows you to obtain an ideal result easily. Everything you need in one system.”

Ecosite Elements introduces a concise range of shades across three modules: Pure, Layer, and Highlight. This not only minimises storage and inventory requirements but also results in significant cost savings. The thoughtfully packaged shades come in ergonomically optimised dispensers, facilitating precise shade matching and simplifying dentin or enamel replacement, layering, individualisation, and coverage of discolourations.

A standout feature of Ecosite Elements is its NC1 Technology, which ensures optimal polishability and aesthetics, making it an ideal choice for both anterior and posterior applications. The precise silanisation of ultrafine filler elements guarantees a homogeneous distribution, offering optimal working characteristics and exceptional polishability.

Enabled by the NC1 technology, the innovative Push-and-Flow Technique allows the material to adapt seamlessly to different scenarios. The material transitions from a firm consistency during sculpting to a softer state, making it easy to adapt to cavity walls while eliminating bubbles or cracks. The result is a lifelike recreation of anatomical details in the final restoration.

Feedback from Dental Professionals

Alan Pressman, DMD, praised Ecosite Elements, noting, “Even in anterior cases, the restoration looks incredibly real. The base VITA shade matches the opacity or translucency of the tooth next to it, and then you can cover that with the next shade module. If you are trying to match a veneer on tooth No. 8 with tooth No. 9 and there is some imperfection on the enamel, you can’t tell the difference.”

Expanding DMG’s Comprehensive Line of Dental Solutions

Ecosite Elements joins DMG’s array of innovative composite offerings, which include award-winning materials like Luxatemp bis-acrylic provisional material and LuxaCore Z Dual core build-up and post-cementation composite. Additionally, it can be seamlessly integrated with other advanced materials in the Ecosite family, such as Ecosite Bulk Fill and Ecosite Bond.

Dental professionals and industry enthusiasts are encouraged to visit the DMG booth #2822 at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, taking place from November 26 to 29, 2023, at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center in New York City. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness live demonstrations and receive complimentary samples of Ecosite Elements.

DMG remains dedicated to delivering holistic solutions and streamlined workflows to dental and lab professionals through innovation, collaboration, and unwavering commitment.
