China: The 28th Dental South China International Expo & Conference, or DSC for short, is set to take place at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex from 23-26 February 2023. The event, which is one of the most prominent dental expos in the region, will showcase the latest technology, equipment, and materials in the dental industry. In addition to the exhibition, the event will also feature seminars and conferences with leading experts in the field.

The DSC attracted 58,829 professional visitors to its 55,000-sqm exhibition space in 2022. The expo featured a diverse range of dental products and technologies, with 839 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions showcasing their latest innovations.

Return to pre-Covid-19 form

The organisers expect the expo to return to its pre-Covid-19 form, revealing that more than 830 brands will be exhibiting at the show. In keeping with China’s recently relaxed regulations on managing Covid-19, the event website states that “Inbound travelers no longer need to apply for a health code from Chinese embassies or consulates.” (Click here for more information on the DSC Online Pre-registration page)

Running alongside the exhibition is a scientific conference that offers dental professionals a range of high-level academic and technical seminars. The DSC has also been collaborating with dental associations of ASEAN members since 2009, organizing joint seminars and symposiums that cover nearly every branch of dentistry, with a focus on endodontics, oral implantology, prosthetics, periodontics, orthodontics and typical cases review.

Interactive activities and personalised services

Along with the introduction of new resources and business models, the event will feature a range of interactive activities such as a New Product launch Event, Art Gallery, Industry Job Fair, Dental Museum, and Live Streaming Studio. In addition, DSC will be offering visitors and delegates personalized services such as one-to-one consultations, business matchmaking, transportation and tour guidance, and discounted hotel reservations.

The China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex is currently the world’s third largest and Asia’s largest exhibition centre, boasting an exhibition area of approximately 330,000-sqm.
