Fresh Health Introduces Proclaim™ Oral Irrigator

Fresh Health has announced the launch of its new Proclaim™ Custom-Jet Oral Irrigator, a device designed to enhance at-home oral care by reducing plaque accumulation.

The innovative irrigator uses intraoral scanning and 3D printing technology to create a customized mouthpiece that contains up to 60 pressurized jets to deliver precision pulsing water to areas between the teeth and gum line.

Clinical Results Show Efficacy of Proclaim

According to Fresh Health, the clinical results of the Proclaim have shown remarkable efficacy in reducing inflammation, bleeding, and plaque levels.

Participants in the study who used Proclaim in conjunction with their regular brushing routine showed a 12.8 times greater reduction in inflammation, 8.9 times more reduction in bleeding, and 9.3 times more reduction in plaque levels.

Proclaim was also found to be particularly effective in reaching interproximal areas and resulted in 5.4 times greater pocket depth reduction and a 1.6 times greater reduction in bleeding on probing compared to the control group of brushing and flossing.

Proclaim Revolutionizes At-Home Irrigation

Dr. Robert Eber, Clinical Professor and Director of Clinical Research at University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and Diplomate and Past Chair of the American Board of Periodontology, is confident that Proclaim will revolutionize at-home irrigation.

According to Dr. Eber, the results of the clinical study prove that technological innovation can transform and improve routine, age-old practices.

“For the nearly half of Americans struggling with some form of gum disease, there’s no doubt this first-of-its-kind advancement will be life changing,” said Dr Eber in the press release.

“The results of this clinical study prove that technological innovation can truly revolutionize and improve a routine, age-old practice with the push of a button. I predict it will positively impact hygiene behaviours and patient outcomes for generations to come.”

Try Proclaim for Your Patients

Dental professionals with an intraoral scanner are encouraged to try Proclaim for their patients. Demos will be available for those looking for a hands-on experience.
