New toothbrush for GALLEIDO Dental Member

Japan: SIKI has introduced a new electric toothbrush known as “Happy Toothbrush” for subscribers of GALLEIDO Dental Member (GDM), said to be the country’s most successful subscription-based club for the provision of daily necessities.

Other products that come under the GALLEIDO subscription model include razors, shower heads, complete nutritional foods and cosmetics.

Available from 13 September 13, the new electric toothbrush comes free with a GDM subscription, excluding shipping cost of 308 Yen (US$2.15).

Free file for new applicants

To commemorate the release of the new “Happiness Toothbrush”, the company will present an original clear file to the first 3,000 new applicants. In addition, existing GDM subscribers will receive a special model change plan for a limited time.

Features of the new electric toothbrush include:

・Improved vibration performance – by 20%

・Higher water-resistance

・Charger part changed to USB-Type A

・Operating time extended from 45 – 50 days

・Toothbrush replacement part changed to metal

Expansion mode

According to the company, GALLEIDO is the No.1 electric toothbrush subscription in Japan, with users exceeding 65,000 as of July 2022. GALLEIDO was also the first company in Japan to provide subscriptions for electric toothbrushes.

In a press release, SIKI said it would continue to expand its subscription-based product line-up, with an aim to reach 100,000 users under GDM.
