Grin Natural partners with The TeleDentists

Grin Natural, an Oral Care brand, has announced a partnership with The TeleDentists, a company that provides teledental consultations.

According to Leah Sigler, president of The TeleDentists, this partnership was brought on by study results reporting a drop in oral healthcare due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company’s press release cited a study report indicating that nearly half of US adults claimed they experienced delayed access to dental care due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The press release said that the partnership would allow consumers to discuss their oral health conditions with a dental professional anytime, anywhere and receive personalized recommendations for natural oral care products.

Grin Natural and The TeleDentists will also publish a series of interviews with oral health professionals and create educational content to increase oral health literacy.

“It is reported that while most consumers understand that good oral health benefits their overall health, many still do not associate the impact of poor oral health with broader serious health conditions,” said the press release. “Therefore, it is important to bridge the gap in understanding to maintain long-term oral health for American consumers.”

The TeleDentists ®, a national dental care provider with more than 300 dentists and dental hygienists, will also provide virtual dental care through online chat and video consultation. On its virtual platform, a licensed dentist or hygienist can discuss topics and guide the patient.

Grin Natural will also be pursuing environmentally sustainable objectives through the partnership. The company’s toothbrushes and floss picks use 100% biodegradable handles made from cornstarch while their toothpastes are said to be made from 100% natural and SLS-free ingredients.

Grin Natural said the collaboration will also be a green-friendly one.
