Improving the scientific quality, knowledge and skills of dentists

The Chairperson of the Indonesian Dentist Collegium and Chairperson of IDEC 2023 Organizer, drg. Diono Susilo, MPH said that it is necessary to improve the scientific quality, knowledge and skills of dentists in providing dental and oral health services in a professional manner.

“Collaboration and synergy are urgently needed to accelerate the national health transformation process which is of great concern to the government,” said Dr Susilo.

The event will return with the theme, “The Transformation of Dental Health Resiliency” and is expected to attract at least 5,000 visitors, including dentistry industry professionals, dental suppliers, medical device manufacturers, medical personnel, and the public in general.

According to Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director of Koelnmesse, the event is optimistic to be more successful than the previous two events held in 2017 and 2019 as it presents more international and local business communities with solution-based technological innovations.

“We are excited to bring back IDEC after the postponement in 2021. Participants will be able to connect with each other once again, and meet key stakeholders of the dental industry in Indonesia to learn and discover the latest dental health developments,” he said.

“The continued collaboration between Koelnmesse, Traya and Indonesia Dental Association (PDGI) is an encouragement to bring IDEC to greater heights over future editions.”
