JAPAN: Japanese universities have made significant strides in the 2024 Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings, with several institutions moving up the global ladder. The University of Tokyo, a leading Japanese academic institution, claimed the top spot among Japanese universities, marking an impressive jump from 39th place in the previous year to 29th in the 2024 rankings.
