K Pharmaceuticals Introduces Aquoral Oral Spray to Offer Long-lasting Relief for Dry Mouth

K Pharmaceuticals has announced the launch of Aquoral, an oral spray designed to alleviate the symptoms of dry mouth, also known as xerostomia. Dry mouth is a prevalent condition that can cause discomfort and pain, affecting vital functions such as chewing, tasting, swallowing, and speaking. Lipid-Based Solution

Aquoral is a lipid-based solution that closely resembles human saliva, specifically formulated to moisten and lubricate the oral cavity, says the company. By forming a lipid film, Aquoral is said to limit the loss of water, restore the viscoelasticity of the oral mucosa, and provide a protective action against further inflammation.
