Oclean, a leading brand in oral care, has revealed its latest innovation: the X Ultra, an artificial intelligence (AI)-integrated electric toothbrush. Announced on July 18, 2024, the new product line includes the Oclean X Ultra WiFi Smart Sonic Toothbrush and the Oclean X Lite Electric Toothbrush. Both versions aim to revolutionize home dental care by harnessing the power of AI to guide users towards better brushing habits.
Advanced Features for Better Oral Care
The Oclean X Ultra boasts an array of features designed to improve oral hygiene. Utilizing AI voice guidance, the toothbrush can inform users in real-time if they are brushing too hard, too fast, or if they’ve missed any areas. This is achieved through bone conduction technology, providing immediate feedback to promote effective brushing techniques.
The toothbrush also connects to a smartphone app via WiFi, allowing users to track their brushing progress and patterns. This data enables the AI to offer personalized suggestions for improved brushing. Additionally, a smart touchscreen displays areas that may have been missed, contributing to a comprehensive brushing score that helps users refine their technique.
CEO’s Vision for the Future
Oclean CEO Suring Liu emphasized the significance of integrating AI into everyday oral care routines. “People typically only get insights into their brushing habits when they visit the dentist every 6 months. We’re using the latest technology to improve people’s oral care and make it fun,” Liu stated. “Through integrative AI technology, we’re offering users access to groundbreaking innovations that give them advanced insights into their oral health and oral care routines.”
High-Performance Specifications
The Oclean X Ultra features six different modes and a Maglev 3.0 motor capable of delivering 42,000 movements per minute. It also boasts an impressive 40-day battery life, making it a practical choice for users seeking convenience alongside advanced functionality.
In contrast, the Oclean X Lite offers similar insight functionalities without the need for app connectivity. This model includes a touchscreen for switching brushing modes and viewing brushing diagrams. The X Lite is equipped with a Maglev motor that delivers 72,000 movements per minute and includes five brushing modes. This version is expected to hit the market in October 2024.
