Thailand: Principal Capital Public Company Limited (PRINC) and Fun Thong Lo Hospital Company Limited (TDH) have joined forces to establish a dental department under the cooperation of PRINC and TDH within the Prince Suvarnabhumi Hospital.
The new dental center is expected to open in the second quarter of 2023 and is located on the 2nd floor of the hospital.
Objective of the Partnership
According to Thani Maneenut, CEO and COO of PRINC, the dental department is an important starting point in the company’s strategy to expand specialized medical services to various hospitals in the group.
The market for dental services in hospitals in Thailand currently accounts for only 10% of the market value, growing at least 10% per year, and PRINC aims to capture a share of this growing market. The partnership with TDH will enable the expansion of the hospital’s user base and attract new service recipients, including foreigners seeking quality dental services.
TDH Dental’s Expertise
Dr Ruangyot Onsaard, President of the Managing Director of TDH Dental, stated that TDH has specialist dentists and experience in all fields of dentistry, making it the perfect partner to establish a comprehensive dental department.
TDH is one of the leading providers in Invisalign clear orthodontics in Thailand and has a team of Invisalign dentists who have been ranked as Black Diamond Providers for 5 consecutive years.
Expansion Plans
PRINC and TDH plan to expand the dental department to other affiliated hospitals within the next 3 years to enhance the potential of providing comprehensive dental services. The partnership also aims to develop dental centers with equal standards in all branches of the Principal Health Care Group.
Hospitals in the Principal Health Care Network
The Principal Health Care network currently consists of 13 hospitals in 11 provinces covering the country, including Prince Suvarnabhumi, Prince Lamphun, Sirivej Lamphun, Prince Paknampho 1 and 2, Prince Uthai Thani, Prince Ubon Ratchathani, Virajsilp Chumphon, Prince Sisaket, Phitsanuvej Phitsanulok, Phitsanuvej Phichit, Phitsanuvej Uttaradit, and Prince Sakon Nakhon.
