Product: Softsmile Aligner Software Solution

From treatment plan to aligner creation, Softsmile is an Aligner Software Solution that brings the entire aligner treatment process directly to the orthodontists’ practices.

Using Biomechanics and Advanced Machine Learning Algorithms, the SoftSmile software offers a user-friendly interface to create precise aligner treatment plans in-house, that are then developed using advanced 3D printing technologies.

“We have long been perfecting our technology to provide orthodontists with the tools they need to fully utilize their skills, lower the cost of the treatment for the patients and usher in the next revolution in orthodontics,” said Khamzat Asabaev, Co-Founder and CEO, Softsmile.

“We are confident that the proprietary technology and algorithms integrated in our software will help to transform orthodontists’ practices and such problems as uncertainty in the result, high cost and lack of accessible treatment will vanish. We believe that SoftSmile is the solution orthodontists and patients have been waiting for.”

Based on the orthodontic treatment plan, the SoftSmile aligner software is able to create a 3D visualization of teeth roots and lower jaw movement during the treatment.

In virtual collaboration with the orthodontist and the modelled teeth movement, the software is able to suggest the precise number of aligners required for achieving the desired outcome.

The time-consuming processes are mapped and automated by the machine learning algorithms to facilitate a digitally optimized treatment plan.

The software automates 3D printing to provide an end-to-end process. The software and manufacturing aspects are integrated to make dental printing more accessible to a wider group of orthodontists, said the company.

“I was very impressed when I first started using the SoftSmile technology in my practice that specializes in the application of lingual braces,” said Roberto Stradi, DDS MSc in Caserta, Italy. “The learning curve for this technology was fairly minimal and the software was completely customizable, allowing me to remain in control and produce a successful result for my patients.”

Established in 2019, SoftSmile designs and develops an advanced, AI-driven orthodontic software package that applies machine learning technology with biomechanical and mathematical principles to provide orthodontists the ability to create aligners or lingual braces treatment plans in-house.
