Korea: Seoul National University Dental Hospital recently conducted dental disease-related health consultations for local residents in Mongolia and Kazakhstan.
On July 7 and 12, medical staff, under the leadership of Chief Lee Yong-moo, including Professor Wonjae Choi from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center, offered free health consultations in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and Almaty, Kazakhstan, respectively.
The consultations aimed to address major dental diseases, such as maxillofacial plastic surgery, implants, wisdom teeth, and maxillofacial deformities, and benefited approximately 30 individuals in each location.

The health consultations were met with appreciation and gratitude from the participants. Mr Kapanov, a 57-year-old patient who received an implant consultation in Almaty, Kazakhstan, expressed his satisfaction, stating, “I had a lot of worries about dental treatment, but the meticulous diagnosis and detailed explanations from the medical staff at Seoul National University Dental Hospital were impressive.”
The hospital’s commitment to providing comprehensive and informative consultations left a positive impact on the local communities.
