Korea: The Smile Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting oral health, announced that it has entered into a partnership with the Korean Dental Technologists Association (Dental Association) to advance oral health care for people with disabilities.
Implant and Crown Therapy
The primary objective of this collaboration is to provide support for implant and crown therapy within the framework of the ‘Smile Implant Dream 2023‘ project. This project is being conducted at “The Smile Dental Clinic” in conjunction with MegaGen Implant. The initiative targets individuals with disabilities who encounter challenges due to physical or economic constraints in addressing their oral health concerns.
Ju Hee-joong, President of the Dental Association expressed high hopes for the partnership, emphasizing its potential to improve the lives of people with disabilities who suffer from oral problems. He stated, “By collaborating with The Smile Foundation, we hope to provide more help to people with disabilities who suffer from oral problems.” The Dental Association has a long-standing commitment of over 20 years to promote oral health among individuals with disabilities.
Kim Kyung-sun, CEO of The Smile Foundation extended appreciation to President Ju Hee-joong and the executives of the Dental Association for their efforts in advocating oral health for people with disabilities. He highlighted the significance of their collective efforts in fostering a society where individuals with disabilities can confidently display bright smiles.

The ‘Smile Implant Dream 2023’ project, in partnership with MegaGen Implant, hopes to be a beacon of hope for individuals with disabilities seeking to enhance their quality of life. This year, seven beneficiaries have been selected and are currently undergoing implant treatments.
