ZuluVista Apex, a dental products company, has announced the launch of two new products that are designed to enhance root canal procedures. The RE-GEN™ Bioactive Endo Sealer and Voyager Irrigating Tips are reportedly cost-effective, efficient, and easy-to-use, providing safe and effective treatment for patients.
RE-GEN Bioactive Endo Sealer
The RE-GEN Bioactive Endo Sealer is an injectable bioactive paste formulated from Bioglass 45S5, a biomaterial that releases soluble ions that promote remineralization of hydroxyapatite and reduce inflammation.
It is designed to create a powerful seal in the canal, and its benefits include enhanced strength, less shrinkage, a quicker set time, and a faster set, says Vista Apex. The product’s MST tip releases the right amount of product in a controlled way. Additionally, it is highly radiopaque, biocompatible, and osteogenic.
Voyager Irrigating Tip
Vista Apex’s Voyager Irrigating Tip is an irrigating tip that features dual side ports and enhanced flexibility. The tip’s design allows the irrigants to be expressed out of the sides of the tips, as well as an optimal stainless steel shoulder bend for best access.
It comes in two lengths to reach all canal depths and is pre-bent at the optimal angle for access, which can be easily adjusted by hand or with pliers. The product’s Secure-Lock hub allows for reliable syringe attachment, and it is also available in blunt cut gauges.
These new products are said to be cost-effective and will offer material savings when paired with the MST tip. The Voyager Irrigating Tip is available for purchase in select gauges and will aid in improved canal navigation. The RE-GEN Bioactive Endo Sealer is effective on non-vital cases and helps create a high alkaline environment to prevent bacteria formation.
