VOCO Introduces AlignerFlow LC

Modern aligner therapy has become a cornerstone in dental and orthodontic practices, offering new avenues for the correction of dysgnathia. The success of these treatments often hinges on the use of attachments, making their precise fit and shape pivotal to the overall outcome.

Addressing this critical need for precision, VOCO has unveiled AlignerFlow LC, a specially developed composite that delivers an array of benefits throughout the attachment process, from production to removal.

Precision and Fluorescence

AlignerFlow LC is designed to offer adaptation within the template splint. Its high stability and abrasion resistance, combined with its unique fluorescence under UV-A light, bring a new level of control to the attachment workflow.

This fluorescence becomes visible only under UV-A light, allowing for meticulous scrutiny of any excess material or artifacts during attachment fabrication and subsequent removal, preventing discolouration or discomfort for the patient.

One of the standout features of AlignerFlow LC is its ability to reveal even the smallest residues under UV-A light. This capability ensures swift and secure removal of attachments while leaving the enamel untouched—a crucial aspect of preserving dental health.

Prevents Underfilling or Overfilling

AlignerFlow LC’s flowability is precisely calibrated to facilitate accurate filling of the template splint. This property helps prevent underfilling or overfilling, which can hinder the precise positioning of the template and, consequently, the attachments. After bonding and light polymerisation (10 seconds at 1000 mW/cm2), attachments made from AlignerFlow LC exhibit exceptional bonding values and durability.

With a filler content of 83% w/w, AlignerFlow LC boasts stability and abrasion resistance. This attribute ensures that the force exerted by aligner splints is efficiently transferred from the attachment to the teeth throughout the entire treatment process.

Versatile and Convenient

AlignerFlow LC is always applied with a dentine enamel bond and is available in syringes of 2 x 2 g in shades A1, A2, and A3. For added versatility, the product includes application cannulas with diameters of 0.9 mm and 1.2 mm, accommodating personal preferences and allowing for precise application, whether for fine attachments or extensive use with lingual retainers.
