Woman’s Dental Implants Unexpectedly Glow Under Club Blacklight

GERMANY: A TikTok video posted by a German user named Krys has garnered widespread attention after she unwittingly discovered that her dental implants glow under blacklight while clubbing.

In the video, her implants stand out brightly under the blacklight, contrasting with her natural teeth, which appear dark purple in the same lighting. Krys humorously captioned the video, “POV you got dental implants and you’re under a black light.”

Unforeseen Consequence Raises Awareness

Speaking to The Post via email, Krys highlighted the need for dental professionals to inform patients about such outcomes, especially for those who enjoy clubbing. She remarked, “This is something the dentist should warn you about especially if you like to go clubbing.” Her video has resonated with millions, accumulating over 7 million views in just three days.

Commenters on Krys’ video expressed solidarity and amusement at her unexpected discovery. While one encouraged her to wear her dental implants with pride due to their costliness, another jokingly suggested using the glowing effect to make people feel uncomfortable.

Additionally, a viewer referenced an episode of the TV sitcom “Friends” where a character experiences a similar embarrassment after whitening his teeth and being exposed to blacklight.

Reflecting on the Experience

In light of her newfound viral fame, Krys humorously concluded her video with the caption, “I’m leaving this club forever.”

The incident serves as a reminder of the unforeseen consequences of certain dental procedures and highlights the importance of patient education and awareness regarding potential outcomes.
