New Educational Platform Introduced at Karnataka Institution

INDIA: Yenepoya Dental College hosted the launch ceremony of a new educational technology initiative called “Medi Steady Go” on January 9, 2025, according to a report from Mangalorean.com.

The event brought together key figures in dental education and technology sectors. The Indian Dental Association (IDA) Karnataka State Branch President, Dr. Shivasharan Shetty, joined Dr. George P. John, Chairman of Techspoon Edu Tech Pvt Ltd, as distinguished guests. Dr. K. S. Gangadhara Somayaji presided over the proceedings, emphasizing the evolving relationship between technology and educational methodologies in his address.

Educational Vision and Implementation

Dr. L. K. Chatra, Principal of Yenepoya Dental College, set the tone for the event with an opening address welcoming the assembled guests. The initiative’s framework and educational objectives were then detailed by Dr. Sham Bhat, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, who provided context for the program’s role in contemporary dental education.

The ceremony, held at the college’s auditorium in Deralakatte, demonstrated strong institutional backing for technological innovation in dental education. Dr. Hasan Sarfaraz, Vice Principal of YDC, concluded the formal proceedings with acknowledgments to the attending dignitaries and participants.
