ZuluHenry Schein One, a joint venture of Henry Schein Inc. and Internet Brands, has recently integrated AI solutions into Dentrix Ascend, its cloud-based practice management software.
The integration includes two powerful AI tools, Dentrix Ascend Detect AI and Dentrix Ascend Voice, that can help dental professionals improve their practice efficiency and elevate patient care.
Real-Time Chairside Insights
Dentrix Ascend Detect AI is an AI-enabled X-ray analysis tool that can provide real-time chairside insights to dentists and hygienists. The tool, powered by VideaHealth’s FDA-cleared computer-assisted detection (CADe) device, can automatically analyse and annotate X-ray images.
This can help dental professionals quickly evaluate X-rays and provide more effective treatment recommendations to patients. As a result, dentists and hygienists can offer greater transparency to patients, improve trust and case acceptance, and elevate patient care.
AI Speech-to-Text Tool
Dentrix Ascend Voice is another AI tool that utilizes advanced speech-to-text technology to improve speed and efficiency for dentists and hygienists.
The tool can simplify data entry by allowing hygienists to easily record results verbally during Perio exams and clinical notes. This can increase Perio exam productivity, treatment acceptance, and patient referrals, helping to improve profitability.
