The biennial Singapore-based IDEM Exhibition will be held at Marina Bay Sands from 7 – 9 October, 2022.

The 12^th edition of IDEM Singapore will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre as an in-person event.

The event was originally slated for 8–10 April but was postponed “in light of current travel and safety restrictions in the Asia-Pacific region”, as per the announcement by event organisers, Koelnmesse and the Singapore Dental Association.

Billed as the leading dental exhibition and conference in the Asia-Pacific region, IDEM Singapore boasts a 14,000sqm exhibition hall showcasing close to 500 exhibiting brands with exhibitors from more than 30 countries.

According to the organizers, over 40 new international exhibiting companies will be participating for the first time at IDEM Singapore 2022.

Themed “Building Resilience in Dentistry”, the three-day event will feature the Trade Exhibition, running alongside the Scientific Conference, where participants can look forward to over 30 conference sessions and workshops by industry-leading speakers from around the world.

One of the workshops to look out for is the SDA Masterclass conducted by Dr Maurizio Tonetti, a prominent clinical researcher in periodontology. Dr Tonetti will be presenting on the topic “Implants in Stage III and IV Periodontitis Patients: Benefits and Risks:, which will highlight the importance of appropriate periodontal therapy before implant placements, benefits, and risks of biological complications in Stage III and IV periodontitis patients.

Making its debut at IDEM Singapore 2022 is the Singapore Speaker Series, a programme featuring local speakers covering specialised topics on comprehensive and conservative approaches to dentistry. The Singapore speakers will present on a variety of topics including: a multidisciplinary approach to aesthetic rehabilitation; contemporary techniques on perio-restorative outcomes; patient-centric orthodontics and treating ameloblastomas.

In addition, attendees can look forward to IDEM 360, a supplementary digital platform that offer participants networking options, booking of meeting slots, and post-event content.

IDEM 360 further serves as the digital precursor to the physical event, where online attendees can preview the latest products and solutions prior to the exhibition. They may even book in-advance meetings with exhibitors and bookmark pre-selected conference sessions for easier navigation and schedule planning.

At no additional cost, IDEM 360 is a digital conduit through which IDEM information may be accessed 24/7 from anywhere.
