AAO and AAPD Join Forces for Winter Conference 2025

Leading Dental Organisations Unite for Interdisciplinary Excellence

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) are set to host a groundbreaking winter conference that bridges the gap between orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. The conference, titled “From Small to Tall: Nurturing the Growth of Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics,” will take place from January 24-26, 2025 at the prestigious JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Florida.

Comprehensive Educational Programme

Healthcare professionals attending the conference will benefit from an extensive programme offering 16.75 live Continuing Education (CE) credits. The conference features a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person or virtually, ensuring maximum accessibility for dental professionals worldwide.

Innovation in Professional Development

In a notable development for 2025, the conference will introduce a innovative 30-day replay feature, enabling registered attendees to review the majority of conference content until February 25, 2025. This flexibility acknowledges the dense nature of the programme and allows professionals to absorb the material at their own pace.

Women’s Leadership Initiative

A distinctive post-conference Women’s Leadership Workshop has been scheduled for January 26-27, 2025, demonstrating the organisations’ commitment to promoting diversity and leadership development in dental specialties.

Industry Engagement

The conference will feature sponsored lunch-and-learn sessions, providing attendees with hands-on product demonstrations and networking opportunities with orthodontic industry suppliers.
