Admetec, a manufacturer of loupes, lights, and cameras, has launched its new Flamingo product line, which integrates a full HD camera and headlight into their loupes.
Flamingo Loupes are designed to offer dentists the ability to document their work easily. The ability to capture and share real-time footage of procedures can serve as a teaching tool to colleagues and students. Moreover, it builds patient confidence in their dentist’s expertise and leadership on the cutting edge of technology.
Lightweight integrated device
The Flamingo Loupes are lightweight, weighing just 19 grams, making them comfortable to wear for long periods. The integration of the camera and headlight ensures proper lighting, critical for focus and quality image capture.
The camera remains focused on the illuminated area, while the headlight is on the user’s head, not overshadowing the subject matter.
Live Broadcast and Full HD Video Quality
Flamingo Loupes also offer unrestricted movement for users, with the PowerPack battery on their belt or in their pocket, which connects to the Flamingo via a single lightweight cable. The product comes with two batteries, allowing for continuous use.
Flamingo Loupes come with Admetec proprietary software, which enables real-time editing, quality screen captures, and automatic software updates. The loupes offer live broadcast via Wi-Fi to the computer, with a delay of just 0.01 seconds, allowing for a smooth, high-quality 1080p | 30fps, vivid, “living colour” video recording.
