Beijing: The China Association for Science and Technology selected the dental and endodontic cases of Beijing Stomatological Hospital as “National Excellent Clinical Cases”.

The China Association for Science and Technology announced the selection results of “National Excellent Clinical Cases”. Following a stringent judging process, the clinical cases of Chief Physician Li Hong and Deputy Chief Physician Su Zheng of the Department of Dentistry and Endodontics of Beijing Stomatological Hospital were selected as part of the “China Clinical Case Results Database”.

Chief Physician Li Hong and Deputy Chief Physician Su are the clinical heads and group mentors of the selected cases.

With support from the Chinese Medical Association, the China Association for Science and Technology has, for the first time, relied on the “China Clinical Case Results Database” to conduct a collection and selection of outstanding clinical cases for health professionals across the country.

More than 1,600 clinical experts conducted two rounds of peer review, and selected 300 outstanding cases including various clinical specialties from more than 6,000 papers submitted by hospitals at all levels across the country. Of these, only 15 cases submitted by the Department of Dentistry and two cases submitted by the Endodontics of Beijing Stomatological Hospital made the selection.

The latter is the only Endodontics Department in the country to make the national selection.
