BIOLASE to Open Laser Dentistry Education Center for Dental Clinicians

US: BIOLASE, a dental laser company, has announced its plans to open a state-of-the-art training facility called the “BIOLASE Education Center.”

The center will offer dentists an opportunity to receive hands-on training and education using BIOLASE’s dental laser technology. An open house event has been scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 5 PM Pacific time.

Learning Environment for Laser Education

The BIOLASE Education Center was designed to provide dental clinicians with a comfortable and engaging learning environment specifically tailored to laser education.

The center’s modular design will enable BIOLASE to host a diverse range of events and courses, catering to the varying needs of dental professionals. Additionally, the center will be situated adjacent to a dental office called “Laser Smiles,” which will offer access to live patient education.

Training with BIOLASE Products

The primary purpose of the BIOLASE Education Center is to offer education and training to dental clinicians on BIOLASE’s acclaimed Waterlase all-tissue and Epic diode laser products.

The Waterlase all-tissue laser courses will cover a wide array of dental disciplines, including restorative, periodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. On the other hand, the Epic diode laser courses will focus on soft-tissue surgical and non-surgical hygiene applications. John Beaver, president and chief executive officer of BIOLASE, emphasized the significance of the new facility.

“This new facility is designed to build upon our success in adding new laser dentists and to attract the 90% of U.S. dentists that are not currently benefiting from laser technology,” said Beaver. “We expect these destination-style facilities to encourage wider participation and ensure dental practitioners receive a consistent educational experience from experts in their fields.”
