CAO Group Unveils Hubble: World’s First Dental Vision Headset

The CAO Group, an international dental innovation and manufacturing company, previewed the world’s first digital vision headset, known as Hubble™ at the California Dental Association (CDA) Tradeshow held in Anaheim, California on May 18th, 2023.

Hubble, a battery-operated headset device, has a range of functionalities to cater to the daily requirements of dental practitioners. Combining magnification, illumination, documentation, and cloud storage in a single device, CAO expects that Hubble will revolutionize dental practices.

Benefits of the Hubble Digital Vision Headset

According to a press release, the wireless headset offers several unique features that set it apart from conventional tools:

  1. Comfortable Fit and Extended Battery Life: Designed for long hours of work, Hubble aims to ensure a comfortable fit. With two independent replaceable batteries, practitioners are able to perform continuous operation without interruptions.
  1. Continuous Zoom and High-Quality Imaging: Hubble provides a zoom capability ranging from 1 to 20x magnification, accompanied by 2K image quality.
  1. User-Friendly Interface: The intuitive user graphic interface (GUI) simplifies device status monitoring, patient record management, and device navigation, says CAO. Additionally, the intensity of the LED light can be adjusted to suit the practitioner’s preferences.
  1. On-Command Documentation: The view field of Hubble can be wirelessly projected to a TV monitor, enabling others to review procedures. The headset also allows for on-command documentation, including imaging and video recording. The captured documents can be stored automatically in a local SD card or transmitted securely to a cloud storage service provided by www.aviuscloud.com, with an initial offering of 10 GB of free storage. Subscriptions for additional storage space are also available.
  1. Live Broadcasting: With Hubble, practitioners can broadcast events live to their desired audiences. The device can be controlled either by a handheld remote or a footswitch, providing convenience and flexibility during dental procedures.

Dr Densen Cao, PhD, President of CAO Group, emphasized the significance of Hubble’s comprehensive capabilities, stating, “Magnification, illumination, and documentation are the most desired features for practitioners. These functions are currently fulfilled with multiple devices… Hubble provides all desired features in one device and is another innovation from CAO to make our customers’ jobs Easier, Faster, and Better.”

CAO aims to ship Hubble units to customers around Q4 of 2023. Pre-orders for the digital vision headset are available on their website.
