Terri Capriolo has been appointed senior vice president of oral health at Carbon, a provider of 3D printing technology. With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, including positions at National Dentex, Solvay Dental 360, and Straumann, Capriolo offers a plethora of expertise and experience to the position.
Growing Carbon’s Oral Health business will be Capriolo’s primary responsibility in her new position, which will see her reporting directly to the CEO’s office.
“We are privileged to have a leader join Carbon who is so well respected throughout the industry,” said Phil DeSimone, a member of the Office of the CEO.
“Terri has a wealth of knowledge and strong relationships with dental labs that will benefit the growth of Carbon’s Oral Health business.”
Experienced in leadership and sales
Carbon expects to benefit from Capriolo’s experience in leadership and sales. She has been the general manager of National Dentex for the last five years, where she played a key role in achieving sustained double-digit growth for the Implant Solutions and nSequence Guided Surgery companies.
Prior to that, she spent more than eight years as a regional sales leader at Straumann, a global manufacturer of dental equipment and supplies, and she worked as the North American sales leader at Solvay Dental 360.
“I’ve admired the Carbon platform and its benefits to the Oral Health industry, so joining the team feels like a natural fit,” said Capriolo.
“I am a true believer in building a strong team culture above all else. I’m excited to join a loyal and passionate team that has proven to be focused on customer success.”
