CIOSP Returns to São Paulo for 42nd Edition

The International Congress of Dentistry of São Paulo (CIOSP) is scheduled to return to Brazil’s commercial capital from January 22-25, 2025. The congress, which will be hosted at the Expo Center Norte, is expected to draw dental professionals from across the globe.

Exhibition Space and Commercial Presence

Our correspondent reports that the event will occupy more than 71,000 square metres of exhibition space, featuring over 315 exhibitors from various countries. This impressive scale makes CIOSP one of the largest dental trade shows in the international calendar, offering a comprehensive showcase of the latest developments in dental technology and practices.

Scientific Programme and Research Platform

A notable feature of the 2025 edition is the return of scientific paper submissions, with researchers and clinicians invited to present their work across multiple categories including clinical forum, scientific forum, and electronic clinical panel presentations. This academic component underscores the congress’s commitment to advancing dental science and practice.

Professional Development and Regional Support

In a show of solidarity with the dental community, the organisers have announced that all registration fees collected during the initial booking period (August 15 to November 15, 2024) will be directed to support dentists in Rio Grande do Sul. Additionally, members of the São Paulo Association of Dental Surgeons (APCD) and the Brazilian Association of Dental Surgeons (ABCD) will receive significant benefits, including free registration and special access to scientific courses.

Industry Impact

Speaking to sector analysts, this gathering is anticipated to be a crucial networking opportunity for dental professionals, with the four-day programme designed to facilitate knowledge exchange and showcase technological innovations. The event’s scale and international participation reflect the robust growth of Brazil’s dental sector and its increasing influence in global dental practice.
