Product: Denticon practice management software

Planet DDS released Denticon, a new practice management software to support patient engagement.

Denticon is said to provide an easy way for dental practices to stay in touch with patients returning for more regular visits following the pandemic.

According to Planet DDS, the Denticon practice management software will help dental staff work more effectively while delivering better patient outcomes. These benefits, the company added, would be helpful at a time when inflation is driving up the cost of dental services.

“Now, with many of our clients feeling the sting of the ongoing labor shortage along with inflation,” said Planet DDS, “eliminating administrative burden and enabling dental offices to engage their patients more effectively with limited staff is crucial.”

The Denticon software support patient management through several features, including: automated appointment reminders, recurring marketing campaigns, customizable announcement messages, etc.

“We are already seeing the added value of Denticon Patient Engagement across many of our KPIs, especially our show rate which went up 18% since our implementation,” said Randa Seif, COO of CaliDental.

“This has been a game changer for our operations both from a cost-cutting and revenue-generating perspective. Our patients have been telling us that they want to be engaged through a more tech-forward approach and the ability to text and email with Denticon has brought our patient engagement to a new level of success.”

According to Planet DDS, dental organizations that utilize separate practice management and patient communications systems stand to lose valuable time and resources moving between multiple applications.

By building the Denticon Patient Engagement feature natively within Denticon Practice Management eliminates data synchronization issues and the need for third-party software. Having the practice management and patient communications systems in a single platform allows staff members to devote more time to improving the patient experience.

“Historically, dental organizations miss out on opportunities to increase production because patients aren’t receiving appointment reminders. Or just as likely, patients are receiving incorrect reminders due to the inherent difficulties of syncing data across multiple applications,” says Eric Giesecke, CEO of Planet DDS.

“Now, with many of our clients feeling the sting of the ongoing labor shortage along with inflation, eliminating administrative burden and enabling dental offices to engage their patients more effectively with limited staff is crucial.”

Planet DDS is a US-based provider of cloud-enabled dental software solutions serving over 10,000 practices across North America with over 60,000 users.
