Dentsply Sirona and 3Shape Forge Enhanced Dental Workflow Integration

Dentsply Sirona and 3Shape have unveiled expanded workflow integrations, focused on harmonising DS Core, Primemill, and Primeprint from Dentsply Sirona with the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner powered by 3Shape Unite. 

The outcome is a series of integrated workflows that promise simplicity, security, and connectivity in the realm of digital dentistry. This development aims to empower dental professionals to offer superior patient care with unwavering confidence.

Bridging the Gap for Dentists

The integration enables a seamless connection between TRIOS scanners and Primemill and Primeprint systems, facilitating in-office milling and printing through the 3Shape Unite platform, DS Core, and the inLab CAD software. 

This means that prosthetic restorations like permanent aesthetic crowns, as well as removable and temporary dental applications such as splints, temporary crowns, or models, can now be manufactured directly within dental practices on the same day.

Dentsply Sirona’s intraoral scanners, including Primescan, will establish a direct connection with the 3Shape Dental System Software via DS Core. This integration streamlines the process of transmitting orders to dental lab partners through DS Core. 

In the lab, the received data can be effortlessly processed within the 3Shape Dental System, leading to significant time savings.
