DIO Implant’s PROBO Z 3D Printer for Digital Dentistry

Korea: DIO Implant, a South Korean digital dentistry company, are the creators behind the DIO PROBO Z Dental 3D Printer.

The device is a part of the DIO Ecosystem, which is a digital prosthetic solution that uses artificial intelligence and big data technology. According to DIO Implant, the DIO Ecosystem is designed to deliver the most efficient, reasonable, faster, and more precise prosthesis.

HD DLP Printing Technology

The DIO PROBO Z 3D Printer uses Full HD (1920 x 1080) DLP printing technology, allowing it to produce prostheses with high resolution and accuracy, says DIO. The printer also has a touch panel and user-friendly UI, which is designed to make it easier to operate. The device also has a dual light source that protects the user’s eyes and resin.

Precise Prostheses 

The PROBO Z is compact and lightweight, says the manufacturer, with a dimension of 300 x 378 x 484mm, making it easy to transport and store. The device’s light wavelength of 405nm is said to enhance the precision and quality of prints. According to a press release, the printer can batch print 40 single crowns in just 25 minutes, which saves time and increases efficiency. The DIO PROBO Z 3D Printer can also be paired with the DIOnavi 3D Printing Material from the same company.

According to DIO Implant, the PROBO Z 3D Printer utilizes Digital Light Processing technology and resin feedstock to create high-quality prostheses with a precision degree of ±50㎛. It offers a build volume of 105.6 × 59.4 × 80 mm, making it suitable for a range of prosthetic applications.
