The DLyte Desktop Dental completes Gpainnova’s Desktop Series as a cost-effective solution for high-quality metal surface treatments.
Gpainnova is a global manufacturer of surface-finishing electropolishing technologies. The company specializes in marine robotics, medical devices and high-performance power electronics.
DLyte Desktop Dental is Gpainnova’s second compact dry electropolishing machine. Retailing at below €10,000 (USD$10,800), the new device is marketed as the first ultra-compact dry Electropolishing Machine for small dental labs. The unit allows an automated polishing process for cobalt chrome (CoCr) pieces. From grinding to mirror finishing, it offers an easy way to process any casting, sintering or milling RPDs.
According to the company, DLyte Desktop Dental metal frameworks are homogenously finished without the need for multi-step manual processes.
Created for the small dental lab set-ups, the DLyte Desktop Dental also improves the work environments by replacing traditional hand polishing and hazardous materials. The surface finishing automation is free from hazards of chemical liquid waste or dust during the polishing process, thus protecting technicians from exposure to the chemical agents at the workplace.
Its small dimensions (450 x 521 x 471 mm) and affordable price, and ease of installation – does not require a special pre-existing or compressed air installation – makes it accessible to any lab.
