The DS PrimeTaper implant system from Dentsply Sirona includes a modern tapered implant, harmonised prosthetic options and a surgical and prosthetic kit.

The implant system features progressive designs with variable thread shapes, a pronounced flute design, and MicroThread for cortical bone maintenance. They are designed to achieve high cutting action, more predictable installations and precise implant placements.

From immediate function to marginal bone maintenance, the system is built with aesthetic outcomes and lasting bone care in mind. Efficient handling is possible via the three distinct thread shapes: the conserving MicroThread shape (top section), the condensing crestal squared thread shape (middle section), and the cutting apical pointed thread shape (bottom section).

The MicroThread on the implant neck is said to provide long-term marginal bone maintenance while the variable thread shapes contribute towards stability and cutting efficiency. The double thread design is intended for immediate installation stability and pronounced flute design further ensures high cutting capacity.
