Dubai Startup UDENZ Secures Landmark $5M Series A Funding

UAE: UDENZ, an innovative digital dental health platform based in Dubai, has closed a remarkable $5 million Series A funding round, supported by a Performance Guarantee. 

The funding was made possible through a consortium of leading UAE-based venture capital firms, including Hakeem Capital Holding, Techcelerate Investments LLC, Inspira Management, and Dubai Business Corporation.

From Listing Service to Ultra Dental Platform

Since its debut at AEEDC 2016, the world’s largest dental event in Dubai, UDENZ has undergone a remarkable transformation. Originally providing listing and appointment booking services, it has evolved into one of the the MENA region’s foremost dental platforms. 

Currently, the platform offers an integrated suite of 26 services, handling more than 100,000 search requests for dentists and facilitating over 5,000 confirmed bookings. UDENZ’s extensive database now includes nearly 8,000 dental professionals from across the region.

Pioneering Dental Platform Services

With the newly acquired funding, UDENZ is poised to advance its mission of providing Dental Ultra Platform Services free of charge to over 50,000 dentists throughout the MENA region. This unique service, operated on a freemium business model, signifies a new era in dental clinic management and patient data applications.

Dr Hisham Safadi, the Founder of UDENZ, expressed his enthusiasm about the funding, stating, “We’re thrilled to be pioneering the first ultra dental platform in the MENA region. This significant investment will empower us to build on our vision of revolutionizing dental services, making them more accessible and effective for both practitioners and patients. Additionally, he highlighted the enormous potential for companies like UDENZ in the global dental market, projected to reach $610 billion in 2023 according to Grand View Research. UDENZ aims to streamline practitioner operations, enhance patient experiences, and improve dental management and cash flow positivity.

UDENZ’s growth trajectory has been marked by success in raising $450,000 through crowdfunding and additional funding rounds. The Series A funding has now elevated the startup’s pre-money valuation to $2 million. 

Headquartered in Umm Al Quwain, with operations in Casablanca and Muscat, UDENZ is amplifying though the Series funding, its mission of making dental healthcare more affordable and accessible, showcasing the practical outcomes of patient and dentist engagement integral to UDENZ’s triumph.
