EM2AI, a dental tech startup based in Singapore, has unveiled plans to launch a dental AI software that helps dentists onboard patients faster and more efficiently. Scheduled for release in the second half of 2024, this innovative tool promises to offer unprecedented transparency and accuracy in treatment planning, marking a significant advancement in the dental industry.
Empowering Dentists and Patients
Ryan San, Chief Executive Officer of EM2AI, expressed excitement about the upcoming launch, emphasizing the product’s potential to empower both dentists and patients. He stated, “Our new dental AI product represents a culmination of years of rigorous research and development. With this revolutionary technology, we are empowering both dentists and patients with the ability to access transparent treatment plans devoid of bias or preference.”
Powered by cutting-edge generative AI algorithms, EM2AI’s solution analyzes a comprehensive array of patient-specific data to formulate optimal treatment plans. By leveraging medical, dental, and social history, demographics, concerns, and investigations, EM2AI aims to usher in a new era of precision and integrity in dental healthcare.
Advancements in Dentistry
EM2AI has already made significant strides in integrating AI into dental practices, with successful deployments of the Artificial Intelligence X-Ray Dental Condition Detection and Automated Dental Charting (ADC) systems in all Q & M Dental clinics in Singapore. These systems are integrated into the Q & M app, providing accessible dental AI solutions to the public.
The Generative AI Treatment Plan (GATP), currently in the early stages of rollout, aims to enhance the speed and accuracy of diagnosing and creating treatment plans for patients. By minimizing biases and preferences, GATP improves transparency, reliability, consistency, and quality in dental diagnoses and treatments, addressing patients’ concerns about excessive or insufficient treatment recommendations.
Commitment to Innovation
Laurence Liew, Director of AI Innovation at AI Singapore, expressed support for EM2AI’s innovative approach, stating, “EM2AI’s integration of AI in dentistry addresses patients’ concern about excessive or insufficient treatment recommendations, fostering an ethical dental approach that patients are actively pursuing.”
