Envista set to acquire Osteogenics

Envista Holdings Corporation has signalled its intent to purchase Osteogenics – representing the combined entities of Osteogenics Biomedical Inc, Allotech LLC and OBI Biologics, Inc – with the signing of a definitive acquisition agreement. Pending regulatory approvals, the agreement is expected be finalized in the third quarter.

Osteogenics develops regenerative solutions for periodontists, OMS doctors, and implant dentists. The company offers a full range of bone grafting products, typically sold under the Cytoplast brand name. The products support critical steps in implant-based tooth replacements such as bone grafting and regenerative therapies to achieve better clinical outcomes.

“Increasing our capabilities in regenerative solutions is consistent with our intention to digitize, personalize, and democratize oral care,” says Envista’s CEO Amir Aghdaei.

“Osteogenics is a recognized pioneer in membrane technologies used in dental bone grafting procedures. They are a trusted brand and have a proven track record of growth.

“We are excited to welcome the Osteogenics team to Envista.”

Envista is a global corporation of more than 30 dental brands, including Nobel Biocare, Ormco, and Kerr. The company owns KaVo imaging business, which has recently been re-branded as “DEXIS”.
