Flex Dental announces Dentrix integration

Flex Dental, a dental patient engagement solutions provider, has announced a new product release offering integration with Dentrix G6 and G7.

According to Flex’s press release, users of the Dentrix practice management software (PMS) can now use Flex communication tools “to engage with customers and increase revenue opportunities”.

 “Over the last three years Flex Dental has been among the fastest-growing patient engagement solutions in dentistry,” said Brennan Dean, company founder and CEO.

“Integration with Dentrix allows tens of thousands of additional dental practices to experience a more modern, intuitive, and cost-efficient approach to patient engagement.”

Prior to this integration, Flex-developed tools were only compatible with the Open Dental practice management platform.

According to Flex, the Dentrix integration offer some of the following benefits for users of the latter’s PMS system:

  • Patient communication tools – including two-way, real-time texts and email;
  • Automated patient reminders;
  • Digital patient forms – instantly update in Dentrix, eliminating paper and manual data entry for staff;
  • Treatment plan presentations;
  • Streamlined process for requesting patient feedback and positive reviews – that link directly to social media platforms.

“We started Flex with creating the ideal staff and patient experience in mind. Practices have embraced the Flex patient engagement platform for its comprehensive features, ease of use, and same-day onboarding,” said Dean.

“Flex’s streamlined workflows and efficient patient communications are proving more valuable than ever for dental offices challenged by staffing shortages created by The Great Resignation.”
