Henry Schein, Inc., a leading dental supplies provider, has announced a significant expansion of its online shopping capabilities with the launch of the Henry Schein Marketplace. This innovative platform is set to revolutionise how dental practices source their non-clinical supplies, offering over 8,000 products ranging from office essentials to breakroom amenities.

The new marketplace represents a strategic move to address the broader needs of dental offices beyond clinical supplies. “Henry Schein is excited to enhance its online offerings, helping to deliver a seamless and convenient digital shopping experience for customers,” states Mark Hillebrandt, vice president and chief digital revenue officer at Henry Schein, Inc.

Pilot Programme Through TDSC.com

The initiative will be initially piloted through The Dentists Supply Company (TDSC.com), an online-only distributor powered by Henry Schein. This subsidiary will integrate the marketplace seamlessly into its existing platform, which already offers a comprehensive selection of dental supplies and small equipment.

Product Range and Partnerships

The marketplace brings together products from major suppliers such as Staples and well-known brands including Lysol® and Keurig®. By consolidating these offerings in one location, Henry Schein aims to streamline the purchasing process for dental practices who typically source such items from various retailers and online platforms.

Future Expansion Plans

Looking ahead, Henry Schein has outlined plans to expand the marketplace’s availability through HenrySchein.com in 2025. This move aligns with what Hillebrandt describes as advancing “the Company’s digital transformation strategy and addresses the growing need of our dental customers to maximize spending and efficiency.”
