Kube Innovation has released the Innobyte, said to be the only bite-force measuring device on the market. According to Kube, the device supplies dentists a clear and concise metric for creating accurate treatment plans.
The Innobyte is designed to quickly demonstrate to patients how much they require treatment. It can be used to show an edentulous patient how an implant-supported prosthesis can radically increase their bite force – thereby greatly enhancing the individual’s treatment acceptance rate.
Conversely, it can be used to demonstrate to someone suffering from bruxism the extent of their bite force that can increase the severity of their grinding, clenching or bruxism issues, resulting in future complications.
In either case, the Innobyte offers an accurate measurement of the bite force leading to a greater acceptance rate. It is a device that not only aids in dentist-patient communication but also a biometric standard to track over time, in addition to before and after treatment to quantify changes.
