Kettenbach Dental, a medical and dental products company, has announced the release of two new light-curing, radiopaque nano-hybrid filling materials, Visalys Fill and Visalys Flow, expanding its Visalys family of composites. The materials are indicated for Class I to VI fillings and are designed with easy handling and modeling in mind.
Flex Shade System
Visalys Fill is not said to stick to instruments and offers enhanced esthetics through its Flex Shade System, covering the entire VITA classical A1–D4 shade scale with just five shades, including a Bleach shade and OA2 opaque shade for shade flexibility.
Meanwhile, Visalys Flow contains a low viscosity that allows for good wetting and adaptation to cavity walls, making it suitable for anterior and posterior restorations.
High Durability
The two new filling composites reportedly have first-grade mechanical properties and durable high stability, with high inorganic filler content that ensures long-lasting preservation of shape and esthetics. Furthermore, the low moisture uptake results in minimal discoloration.
The official sales launch of Visalys Fill and Visalys Flow began on March 22, and according to the company, the products are expected to provide the ideal prerequisites for flawless performance in all cavities, offering long-lasting, esthetic fillings that benefit both the practice and the patient.
Kettenbach aims to offer modern materials for durable fillings that benefit both the practice and the patient. The outstanding strength of the new products, even after loading, and their impressive shade stability round off the characteristics, says Kattenbach. The user can quickly and easily determine the right tooth shade without having to stock an extensive range or make esthetic compromises.
