The Ivoclar Group, a Liechtenstein-based dental and medical device company, has achieved outstanding operating results in the 2022 fiscal year, with a turnover of 872 million Swiss francs, surpassing its previous record set in 2021.
The company attributes its success to the introduction of innovative new products and expansion into growth markets globally. Despite this positive news, the company has announced a change in leadership, with Markus Heinz replacing Diego Gabathuler as CEO.
Markus Heinz is the New CEO
Under the leadership of Diego Gabathuler, the company developed successfully in recent years. However, after eight years with the company and almost four years as CEO, Diego Gabathuler has decided to leave the company.
The new CEO, Markus Heinz, who started his career at the company in 1985 and most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer, has a proven track record in production, supply chain management, organizational development, people management, and customer care, making him an ideal choice to continue the Ivoclar Group’s success story.
Markus Heinz’s remit is to continue to implement the existing strategy while increasing focus on growth markets and core products, investing in innovative solutions for the future.
The Ivoclar Group’s geographical diversification strategy has allowed the company to navigate geopolitical and economic tensions successfully. Markus Heinz will be supported by the existing members of the Corporate Management, with Christian Brutzer taking on responsibility for the sales organization of all markets in the future.
Ivoclar’s 100th Anniversary
Ivoclar Group is celebrating its 100-year anniversary under the theme of “A Century of Innovation” in 2023. The company is sharing its rich history of innovative achievements and celebrating its success story with customers at trade fairs and conferences globally.
In June, Ivoclar will be inaugurating its new administration, visitor and training center at the company headquarters in Liechtenstein, housing 300 state-of-the-art workspaces, and the Ivoclar Experience, which brings to life the company’s mission of “Making People Smile”.
