Product: LOCATOR FIXED full-arch solution

Zest Dental Solutions announced the upcoming launch of the LOCATOR FIXED full-arch solution, which does not require a new abutment. In most cases, the company says the seamless full-arch solution also requires less bone reduction and chairtime, as compared to traditional, screw-retained restorations.

LOCATOR FIXED is the latest addition to the company’s LOCATOR range of abutment systems.

With LOCATOR FIXED, the company says clinicians are now able to utilize patients’ existing or newly placed LOCATOR abutments to provide a FIXED full-arch solution.

Staged treatment planning

According to Zest Dental Solutions, the full arch solution allows them to offer staged treatment planning. By switching out the LOCATOR inserts and housings in the existing prosthesis, followed by fabricating a new prosthesis later, clinicians can easily and seamlessly move patients from removable overdentures to FIXED full-arch.

Less invasive than traditional methods

Said to be less invasive than comparable solutions, LOCATOR FIXED requires less bone reduction and is purportedly more affordable than traditional screw-retained approaches.
