The MEDIT i700 wireless intraoral scanner offers clinicians a cord-free scanning experience while according to MEDIT, retaining the same power and capabilities as standard plug-in intraoral scanners. The cordless device enables comfortable scanning at any angle – scan proximal areas with minimal constraints in movement.

Just as important, the scanner is said to pack enough battery power needed for all-day scanning and treatment. In addition to powerful batteries, MEDIT utilizes an intelligent power management function that switches the device to sleep mode when not in use – said to enable up to one hour of continuous scanning. Fully drained batteries require an overnight charge for a fresh start the next day.

MEDIT i700 wireless can capture up to 70 frames per second and a scan area of 15 mm x13 mm. Paired with MEDIT software, clinicians are able to see any issues or warning signs before they become problems, thus saving the patient money and keeping dental professionals confident in their work.

Empowered by MEDIT Link and MEDIT apps, i700 users can create and manage scan data matched with patient information in the electronic chart program and link them with treatment solutions of various workflows.

Digital workflows are enhanced by the various apps of the MEDIT Link App Box, which MEDIT says, help to provide higher standard consultation that is easier to understand for patients.

As well as enabling data sharing and real-time communication between dentists, patients, and lab technicians, MEDIT Link’s cloud storage encrypts and stores all data for reliable protection against virus and ransomware attacks. The cloud-storage solution provides MEDIT i700 wireless easy data access for a variety of applications, including clear aligners, implants, surgical guides, 3D printing, and more.

Suitable for up to 30 scanned cases on a single charge and for a variety of treatment indications, MEDIT i700 wireless features an enlarged scanning window that is powered by 60 GHz wireless technology.
