Medit Launches Online Shopping Mall for Direct Dental Purchases

Korea: Medit, a Korean provider of 3D intraoral scanners and digital dentistry solutions, has unveiled its online shopping mall, offering customers a convenient platform to directly purchase Medit goods and services. This initiative aims to empower customers by streamlining the purchasing process and reducing waiting times.

Scanner Warranties

One notable feature available for purchase through the Medit Shop is the warranty for scanners. In the past, customers had to rely on local dealers to obtain scanner warranties, resulting in lengthy processing times of up to several weeks. 

However, with the newly launched online shopping mall, customers can now purchase scanner warranties directly through the online platform. Orders placed through the mall are processed swiftly, with a turnaround time of two days, says a press release. This improvement significantly reduces the waiting period previously associated with acquiring scanner warranties.

To further enhance the customer experience, the online shopping platform integrates an automated system that simplifies the warranty extension process. Upon entering a scanner’s serial number, the system calculates and presents the available warranty extension options to the customer. This feature grants users the flexibility to purchase additional warranty coverage for up to four years in a single transaction.

Expanding Product Range

While the online shopping mall currently offers a selection of items, Medit has plans to broaden its product range with diverse offerings in the near future. Customers can anticipate an even wider array of products that aim to enhance their digital dentistry experience.
