Midmark Introduces Mental Wellness Check-ins for Employees

Midmark Corporation, a leading innovator in healthcare design, has announced a significant addition to its employee wellness program. The company has partnered with the Center for Personal Wellness to offer mental wellness check-ins, demonstrating its commitment to holistic employee health.

Pilot Program Details

The pilot program, set to run from June through September, will provide free onsite mental wellness check-ins with a therapist from the Center for Personal Wellness at Midmark’s Versailles campus. Remote employees and those at other locations will also have access to these services.

Sue Hulsmeyer, Chief People and Administrative Officer at Midmark, emphasized the company’s dedication to employee well-being, stating, “As a leader in the healthcare industry, we are committed to enhancing the care experience for our teammates and their families; this includes helping ensure they get the support they need.”

Breaking Down Barriers

The initiative aims to eliminate barriers and stigma that may prevent individuals from seeking mental health assistance. In addition to the check-ins, employees and their family members have access to six free sessions at any counseling facility through the company’s employee assistance program.

Laura Roetgerman, founder and executive director of Center for Personal Wellness, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “In joining forces with Midmark, we are not only bridging gaps but constructing pathways to emotional wellness.”

Comprehensive Wellness Approach

Midmark’s wellness program is built on a strong educational foundation, encouraging employee engagement and feedback. The company maintains an onsite wellness center at its Versailles campus, offering various health services including flu shots, medical massages, and health screenings.

For remote employees, Midmark provides resources such as blood pressure cuffs and facilitates onsite flu shots at multiple locations, ensuring comprehensive care for all team members.

Recognition for Health Initiatives

Midmark’s commitment to employee wellness has not gone unnoticed.
