Neo Biotech Completes New Headquarters Building in Wonju Industrial Complex

Neo Biotech, a dental implant and medical device company, held a completion ceremony for its new headquarters building in the Wonju Industrial Complex on May 2nd. The event was attended by over 100 distinguished guests, including Gangwon Province’s Economic Promotion Director, Wonju Mayor, City Council Chairman, and industry association leaders.

Relocating to the Wonju Headquarters 

The company relocated its main office and factory from Seoul to the Wonju Industrial Complex and invested KRW 45 billion (US$340m)  to build a new facility that is 14,612 square meters. The new building will produce implant care products, including implants, oral scanners, and surgical tools. Neo currently sells dental medical devices to over 5,000 dental clinics and hospitals in Korea and exports its implants to more than 70 countries worldwide.

The new Neo headquarters building includes various amenities, such as a rooftop terrace, a resting area, an in-house restaurant, a cafe lounge, an open public space, and a gym for employee welfare. Additionally, the site has the potential to expand for a new branch office or headquarters to support future overseas expansion.

Contributing to the Community

Currently, Neo’s employees have completed their first relocation to the Wonju headquarters building, and the company is expected to commence production activities promptly and recruit personnel for the production and quality departments.

Won Gang-su, the Mayor of Wonju, expressed gratitude for Neo Biotech’s investment in the Wonju Industrial Complex and its excellent technology, and anticipated that Neo would make significant contributions to the local community’s growth and prosperity.

Neo Biotech expects this investment in the Wonju Industrial Complex to create jobs and advance the economic development of the local community.
