NextDent LCD1 3D Printer Delivers 3X SLA Speed

Dental professionals seeking a reliable 3D printing solution can turn to NextDent® LCD1, a small-sized printer-platform that employs LCD technology.

The printer delivers high-quality results with a smooth surface finish, thanks to its auto-calibration feature, which eliminates the need for user calibration. With 3x faster printing speeds than SLA printers, it matches the digital light processing printing speeds, making it an efficient tool for clinical use.

The NextDent LCD1 3D printer comes with a two-year warranty, including the LCD panel, and offers remote diagnostics and repair capabilities.

Features and Benefits

It has a printing size of 128 x 80 x 140 mm and weighs 15 kg. The machine’s pixel size is 49 micron, with an XY resolution of 49 μm and a slice thickness of 30 – 150 μm. The printer’s wavelength is 405 nm, and it has a printing speed of 4.5 cm/hr.

The printer uses NextDent resins, which are part of the product range developed, registered, produced, and sold through Vertex-Dental B.V. of The Netherlands.

The NextDent LCD1 workflow includes the use of NextDent Wash & Cure for post-processing. The NextDent Wash is a two-container washing system that uses Ethanol, IPA, or washing solvent, and has a magnetic stirrer for simple maintenance and cleaning.

The NextDent Cure is a small LED cure station validated for NextDent resins, with an easy-to-use interface that maintains recommended timings for NextDent resins.
