OrthoNu launches Tweakz for Braces and Tweakz for Aligners

OrthoNu, a provider of orthodontic self-care solutions, has introduced a new line of products, Tweakz for Braces and Tweakz for Aligners, that are intended to cater to the demands of orthodontic patients.

Uncomfortable and costly emergency visits

The average orthodontic clinic receives 8 to 10 emergency visits daily, with each one costing the office, on average, $100. 92% of crises using aligners are caused by rough edges and removal of excessively retentive trays, whereas 99% of emergencies involving braces are caused by broken brackets and cutting distal ends. For patients and carers, these visits may be uncomfortable and disruptive.

The instruments are made to take care of typical orthodontic problems between appointments, enabling tolerable discomforts to be taken care of at home and minimising disturbances for both patients and offices.

“The OrthoNu line of self-care orthodontic products focuses on emergency care, oral hygiene, oral aesthetics, and oral health, reducing the sizeable impact of emergency visits and elevating the patient experience,” said Dr. Sima Yakoby Epstein, OrthoNu Founder and CEO.

“Tweakz provides orthodontists with proper tools and solutions to meet these urgent patient needs when they occur, while helping expand patient self-care capabilities, comfort, and confidence.”

Designed by orthodontists

The Tweakz 4-in-1 self-care tools, according to the company, were created by an orthodontist and are made using tools that professionals trust and are patient-friendly and professional-grade.

“With Tweakz tools, we can provide our patients with safe self-care solutions, at the beginning of their treatment, to address the most common orthodontic emergencies while at home or on-the-go, and in between office visits.” said Dr. Jamie Reynolds, Reynolds Orthodontics.

“Tweakz are truly a welcomed advancement for the industry that will save practices time and expenses resulting from emergency visits.”

A flush distal end cutter, dental pick, rubber band applicator, and diamond dental file are all parts of OrthoNu’s Tweakz for Braces.

A dental pick, rubber band applicator, aligner remover, and diamond dental file are included in Tweakz for Aligners. A portable case with a mirror holds the tools.
