Osstem Implant and Denol TV Examines Future of Dentistry in Super-Aging Society

South Korea: As Korea is expected to enter a super-aging society with over 20% of the population aged 65 or older by 2025, the dental industry is looking for ways to respond to this demographic shift.

In preparation for the future of dentistry in a super-aging society, Osstem Implant and Denol TV have partnered with the Korean Society of Geriatric Dentistry to hold a series of lectures under the theme of ‘preparation for a super-aged society, geriatric dentistry revisited’.

Relay Lecture on Importance of Oral Aging

The Wednesday Seminar, the longest-serving educational program, will feature a relay lecture by 23 speakers, including experts from overseas, discussing the definition and importance of oral aging and providing practical information on hospital operations, legal issues, and community care.

The lectures will be streamed live every Wednesday from 8:00 pm on Denall TV, with opportunities for real-time Q&A and Starbucks coffee gifticons giveaways to viewers who post chatting questions.

Insights to Respond to Super-aged Society Challenges

The seminar, which has a 16-year history and has been upgraded to a richer content composition since the opening of Denol, is expected to provide dentists with valuable insights on how to prepare for and respond to the challenges of a super-aged society.

In the fourth quarter, the seminar will also feature a high-quality lecture in collaboration with the Korean Society of Dental Imaging.

As the dental industry faces the challenges of demographic change, initiatives such as the Wednesday Seminar will be crucial in providing dentists with the knowledge and tools necessary to meet the needs of an aging population.
